What is Gut Inflammation (BPC-157 / KPV / PEA / Tributyrin)?
This product combines four ingredients in 60 capsules: BPC-157, KPV, PEA and tributyrin.
PEA (palmitoylethanolamide) is a fatty acid compound the body makes naturally. Tributyrin is a fat that the body breaks down into butyrate, a short-chain fatty acid also produced by gut bacteria.
KPV is a three-amino-acid peptide (lysine, proline, valine). It is the end fragment of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (alpha-MSH), a hormone involved in many signaling pathways.
What the research shows
No clinical trials of this specific combination are known to us. Each component has its own, mostly preclinical, research base, and combining them has not been studied as a product.
PEA and tributyrin have their own research histories, mostly outside of this combination.
