CryoBuffer™
Cold-prepared stabilisation for peptide formulations
CryoBuffer™ is Lavi MD's proprietary process. Described here from Lavi MD's published technology page, https://lavimd.store/cryobuffer-technology/. VRLOV West Palm Beach does not own or license the name.
What it is
CryoBuffer™ is Lavi MD's proprietary stabilisation system for peptide formulations: a cold-prepared, precision-balanced formulation process paired with a purification step Lavi MD calls Cryogenic Microfiltration.
It is a manufacturing and formulation process, not an ingredient and not a treatment.
The problem it is intended to address
Peptides can degrade once they are in liquid form. Lavi MD lists heat, oxygen exposure, pH or salt shifts, microscopic aggregate formation, and hydrolysis from water exposure.
Lavi MD states that traditional methods may limit refrigerated shelf life to weeks or a few months. That comparison is not sourced on the page.
How it is described to work
- A liquid buffer matrix intended to support stability at 0 to 4°C.
- Trehalose, which Lavi MD describes as helping shield peptide structure and reduce aggregation under cold conditions.
- Buffering agents for pH control, isotonic salts, and trace components described as reducing oxidative stress.
- Cryogenic Microfiltration: depth filtration at 0 to 4°C to remove larger aggregates, with pH and solution balance monitored, oxygen-reduced environments, and a sterile fine filtration step before vials are filled.
- An optional freeze-drying step for dry-form storage.
Stated characteristics
- Processing and storage temperature
- 0 to 4°C.
- Refrigerated stability
- Up to 18 months under controlled storage conditions. Lavi MD states this figure as projected, not as a tested result.
- Storage guidance
- Keep refrigerated, protect from light, and do not freeze liquid formulations.
What evidence is offered
- Lavi MD describes the intended benefits as extended refrigerated stability, clearer formulations with fewer aggregates, batch-to-batch consistency, and less waste from premature degradation.
- No clinical data, studies or third-party test results specific to CryoBuffer are cited on the source page, and the stability figure is described as projected.
Limitations
- Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. Lavi MD states that its claims have not been evaluated by the FDA.
- The 18-month figure is a projection under controlled storage, not a measured shelf life, and we do not present it as one.
- A stabilisation process affects the formulation's physical quality. It says nothing about whether a compound works.
- The source page names no specific products, so we do not state that any particular product on our price list uses CryoBuffer.
Where it is used
Which products use it
The Lavi MD source page describes CryoBuffer™ in general terms and names no products. Until that mapping is confirmed in writing, no product on our price list is described here as using it.
This page describes a formulation process and is general information, not medical advice. It makes no claim that any compound is safe or effective. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. Medical evaluation, prescribing and dispensing are overseen by Dr. Sasson E. Moulavi, MD, our Medical Director and Dispensing Physician. The wellness coach does not diagnose or prescribe.
